In this episode, we are joined by Naomi Gonzalez Kahn, talking all about her career as set designer, costume designer and production designer for film and theatre. Born and raised in Mexico City, Naomi is a Los-Angeles based production/costume designer for film and live performance. She earned her master’s degree in Fine Arts from UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television.
Naomi also holds a degree in Jewelry Design from the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA) and a degree in stage design from the National School of Theatrical Arts (ENAT), Mexico City, and she enjoys the movement and multi-faceted nature of visual narrative design the most.

From a small town in the North of England, Chris McGreevy grew up representing Great Britain in Acro Sport, studying at music college, and coaching acrobatics, before making his transition to the stage. Since entering the entertainment industry, Chris has performed and managed some of the world’s biggest stages. As a porter, aerialist, artist coach and artistic coordinator for companies including Cirque Du Soleil and Franco Dragone, Chris has extensive experience with the inner workings of a large circus company both on and off the stage.

Rorisang recently made her directorial theatre debut at The Market Theatre in Johannesburg, much to critical acclaim, and is looking forward to expanding her career abroad.

In this episode we are joined by Daniel Jean from Moment Factory, talking all things multimedia. For the past 20 years, Daniel has worked at the heart of Montreal-based studio Moment Factory. This home base within a major hub of digital production has placed him right at the intersection of creative and technical innovation, and allowed him to take part in some of the most game-changing developments in multimedia entertainment, across different contexts.
As a producer, Daniel Jean works closely with clients, engaging them in a collaborative discussion about the vision, feasibility, and logistics of the project. As a former video director, he specialises in going the extra mile to deliver impressive multimedia experiences. Daniel has worked with some of Moment Factory’s high-profile clients, including Cirque Du Soleil, Arcade Fire, Billie Eilish, Muse, Childish Gambino, Halsey, Imagine Dragons, Tiesto, Celine Dion and the NBA, to name a few. Daniel’s vision of entertainment and passion for his work allows him to push the boundaries every day. His diplomacy and genuine care for each detail related to the project, helps build long lasting relationships with clients and collaborators. Andy Levey is a high performing and dynamic C-suite leader, specialising in business and brand leadership for the digital age. Over the last two decades, he has been at the forefront of initiatives that connect consumers in a rapidly evolving and increasingly segmented market, developing and implementing competitive, data-driven business and portfolio strategies and executing programs with precision, to expand market presence and target audiences.
He is particularly proud of the following successes:He was the Clio Award Winner in 2021 with Two Bit Circus, was named as Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies in 2020 with Two Bit Circus, he helped relaunch the Sesame Street brand in the Middle East, built a marketing team and successfully launched La Perle By Dragone in Dubai, increased sales and established KPIs, ROIs, and social media advertising channel sales with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas and Montréal, advocated for a successful multi-year content plan, initiating digital programming, media strategy, and distribution with the Cirque du Soleil marketing team, and finally, Andy holds an MBA (Marketing) and an MS (Hospitality) from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas and a BS (Finance) from Tulane University in New Orleans.

In this episode we are joined by Bonnie Howland, talking all things project management. Bonnie Howland was born and raised in Upstate NY, and she holds a BFA in Technical Direction and Project Management from Purchase College. She started her career trying to juggle being a mom and having a career. Eventually, Bonnie became a Project Manager for PRG, helping set up the PRG Asia division to later work for PRG Scenic Technologies. She also Project Managed for Shock Studios Inc, before pivoting to work as a business manager for Catskill Custom Carpentry Inc so that she could be closer to home. After 7 years as a Business Manager, Bonnie returned to the industry as a Project Manager for PRG Scenic Technologies, and acted as senior project manager for two years before pivoting back again. Bonnie currently teaches Theatre Technology at SUNY Purchase, and talks to us all about her fascinating career and life.

Kelsey Borlan Lee is a brand strategist, producer, and director with nearly 20 years of experience behind the camera as a photographer and later cinematographer. As a branding and visual communication expert, Kelsey has helped develop such brands as Living with Leah of ABC’s "The FAB Life" with Tyra Banks, Chrissy Teigen and Joe Zee, and partnered with The Annenberg Space for Photography to commemorate the opening of Lauren Greenfield’s acclaimed exhibit, "Generation Wealth". Kelsey has also collaborated and created content for brands such as Netflix, Fuse, The Olympics, Visa, Mastercard, Green Dot Bank, Darling Magazine, Giving Keys, and more.
Robert Lee has thousands of music cue placements on various shows on the NBCUniversal, Fox, and Viacom Networks. He has produced, collaborated, and played keyboards for artists such as KC & The Sunshine Band, New Zealand’s award-winning vocalist, aaradhna, renowned R&B/Hip-Hop producer, and G-1 and many more. Robert is co-owner of Creative Studios Los Angeles. Kelsey and Robert work together as co-executive producers of comedy series and current live show, Laugh After Dark.

Domenica Boscardin is a Manager of Technical Production Events and Entertainment at Expo 2020 Dubai. She joins us on TheatreArtLife to talk about her work at the Expo, her eclectic career, and women in entertainment.
Domenica is an American expat who frequently wonders, “How is this my life?”. She loves working in live entertainment for the art, the challenge, and the absolutely amazing people involved. Domenica feels immensely fortunate to have a career that has ranged from one-nighter bus touring, to the main-stage of a world expo - and so many crazy things in between. Domenica doesn't know where the next stop is going to be, but she’s looking forward to it!

In this episode we are joined by Richard Bryant sharing his experiences documenting technical theatre. Richard Bryant is in his final year as a Master of Fine Arts candidate in the University of Idaho's Distance program. From 2013 to 2020 he has lived and worked on the twin island nation of Trinidad and Tobago as an assistant professor in theatre design and production at the National Academy for the Performing Arts. He has been both a technician and designer for a variety of stage and television productions over the years as well as a writer, presenter and online content producer for the Facebook group, Archiving Technical Theater History. Richard is a proud member representative for both the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) and The International Organisation of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians OISTAT.
